The Barwa Financial District located in Doha’s West Bay Commercial District is a modern development consisting of 9 high rise office towers, a retail shopping centre and parking for 5,000 vehicles. Bouygues Construction was appointed the main contractor who awarded the contract to supply edge protection to vertemax™ who in turn provided in excess of 10,000 barriers, posts and associated attachment.
Our quality barrier system products used on this project offered European standard protection throughout the development site, providing market leading edge protection to the workforce.
Costing over £1.3billion, Barwa Financial District was a project that started in 2009 later completed on schedule in late 2013. In 2009, the Barwa Real Estate Company appointed Bouygues Construction as the main contractor for the 695,000 m2 Barwa Financial District.
